So I have linux on some old machines that I pull out of the closet every now and again to do shit with when Im bored. Last night I installed ubuntu gutsy on a friends machine because he was sick of spyware and virus’s. I can sympathize, how else can one look at free porn without the fear of the gov’mnt knockin down your door. Well this morning I was so psyched about how well that machine worked that I installed it on my Dell D505. And I must say this is so freakin awesome, After enabling some “kinda recommended” settings I was able to upgrade my broadcom 46xx firmware and I have wifi capabilities!! I very happy.
